Dampak COVID-19 Terhadap Perekonomian

Virus corona tidak hanya memiliki dampak kesehatan. Dampak virus corona bagi perekonomian Indonesia juga tidak kecil.

Dikutip dari CNN Indonesia, Menteri Keuangan Republik Indonesia mengatakan bahwa proyeksi pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia hanya akan mencapai 2,3%.

Bahkan, dalam situasi terburuk, ekonomi bisa minus hingga 0,4%.

Penyebab dari hal ini di antaranya adalah turunnya konsumsi dan investasi, baik dalam lingkup rumah tangga maupun lingkup pemerintah.

Lalu, bagaimana dampak virus corona bagi industri-industri di Indonesia? Kita bahas tiap-tiap industri, yuk.

1. UMKM

      Dampak virus corona bagi perekonomian UMKM (usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah) sangat nyata.

Dilansir dari BBC Indonesia, hal ini disampaikan oleh Ketua Asosiasi UMKM Indonesia sendiri, yaitu Ikhsan Ingatubun.

Anjuran physical distancing yang dikeluarkan oleh pemerintah Indonesia membuat orang-orang tetap di rumah dan tidak pergi keluar untuk melakukan aktivitas biasanya.

Salah satu kegiatan yang menghilang dari rutinitas adalah tidak berbelanja ke luar rumah melalui UMKM yang ada.

Karena inilah, UMKM kesulitan membayar biaya-biaya yang ada. Hal itu seperti gaji dan honor pekerja, serta biaya-biaya operasional dan nonoperasional lainnya.

Hal ini berdampak buruk, karena apabila pekerja tidak bisa menghasilkan uang, mereka terpaksa pulang kampung dan tidak punya pilihan lain.

Pasalnya, mereka tidak memiliki penghasilan yang cukup untuk hidup di tempat perantauan. Mau tidak mau, pulang ke rumah adalah hal yang harus dilakukan untuk bertahan hidup.

2. Pariwisata

     Apa dampak lain dari anjuran physical distancing? Tentu saja kita tidak jalan-jalan dan travelling.

Agen perjalanan, hotel, transportasi, pemandu wisata, hingga restoran pun terkena dampak dari virus corona ini.

Tidak hanya kamu sebagai turis lokal, anjloknya angka turis mancanegara juga merupakan hal yang tidak dapat dihindari.

Pekerja juga terkena dampak virus corona bagi perekonomian sektor pariwisata, dan akan membutuhkan cara menghasilkan uang dari rumah saat wabah.

Hal ini terjadi karena pola yang mirip dengan lesunya industri UMKM,

3. Manufaktur

     Menjelang Ramadan, dunia manufaktur normalnya menggenjot industri karena naiknya permintaan masyarakat. Sayangnya, karena corona datang, manufaktur tidak bisa melakukan hal itu.

Dilansir dari Katadata, dampak virus corona bagi perekonomian ini memaksa perusahaan manufaktur untuk menurunkan produksinya.

Ada karyawan harian yang diminta untuk libur bergantian, sehingga pendapatannya berkurang setengahnya. Apabila dirumahkan sepenuhnya, perusahaan juga harus melakukan perhitungan pesangon.

Karyawan harian juga terancam kehilangan pekerjaannya, dan berakhir “terpaksa” pulang kampung atau cari pekerjaan lain.

Karena proses pengolahan berkurang, impor bahan baku juga mengalami penurunan. Selain itu, hasil akhir proses manufaktur juga akan mengalami penurunan ekspor karena penurunan permintaan dari luar negeri.
